which camera should i get?

i want a digital one, but i honestly dont care whether it takes videos or not. i want it to take pretty good photos and not make it come out pixely. im 16 if that matters. anyways im not some hardcore picture taker, but it would be nice to have one when im at the amusement park or beach or something. :]

Alexa,

The Kodak Easyshare line of cameras are really decent for taking pictures and don't cost very much. They are easy to use and do videos. The picture quality is really good too.

I personally have the M1073.

It doesn't take standard batteries, and the battery it comes with can recharge via USB or a wall plug, so that saves on battery costs. The charge seems to last a long time. The only downfall is it doesn't take very good pictures if you have low or no lighting available, the flash on it isn't strong enough.

The photo editing software it comes with is easy to use as well.

Here are 3 camera options for you to check out that may be worthwhile:

Nikon Coopix L20 - $89 (see the 1st link below)

Canon PowerShot A1100IS - $129 (see the 2nd link below)

Canon Powershot SD 1200 IS - $149 (see the 3rd link below)

This provides some different price points, and the first 3 links below are to the Amazon web pages for these cameras and have many customer reviews with should be of some assistance. The I added some more links to some photo dealers that may be worth checking out for prices plus 2 of those dealers, B&H Photo and Adorama, have customer reviews on many items also.

Hope this helps.
